“We deal with the electrical grid, construction and maintenance — we don’t deal with a customer’s account,” Camacho said.
Cruz is blaming CUC Executive Antonio Muna, Camacho and administrative specialist Grina Mizutani for the disconnection notice received by the Taotao Tano leader.
Camacho said Cruz was assuming that key officials of CUC were “retaliating” for Taotao Tano’s criticism of the utilities agency.
He said he confronted Cruz about the accusation and that the Taotao Tano president admitted that he was only “assuming.”
Camacho said his office works to ensure that the power system is safe.
“The power division is not making decisions regarding disconnection. That is the customer services’ responsibility,” he said.
CUC did not carry out the disconnection of Cruz’s power and water supplies due to a “technical discrepancy.”
