PCC thanks Namekawa foundation

PCC President Patrick Tellei said that the proposition of Yuji Namekawa, Chairman of the South Sea Community Association, of $12,000 for the first year of scholarship and $24,000 thereafter is a large amount for PCC.

Tellei in his letter to Namekawa in turn proposed that the scholarship to be set at a maximum amount of $4,000 per year and the amount will be divided between four deserving Namekawa-PCC scholars at $1,000 per year.Tellei in the letter also asked that the two PCC staff be sponsored to train in Japan in the area of Auto Mechanics Technology.“I trust that this training can teach PCC instructors the latest skills and practices in the automobile technology industry, which they can use to improve their instructions to PCC students,” Tellei said.
