Mark Wallace of NMC pulled the team to the leading position, shooting 3-pointers behind the arc during the first half.
Wallace fired three points in the early minutes of the first quarter after teammate Mel Manibusan made a two-pointer.
Rufino Aguon crafted 10 points and Joe Villacrusis made 9 points via medium-range shots.
On the other hand, Autonomous’ Ponce Rasa, together with Bobby Coldeen Ed Diaz and Ulysses Kapileo contributed some points to prevent a wide deficit.
Should NMC win its makeup game with Autonomous, it will hold a 9-1 win-lose card. However, if Autonomous overcome the pressure from NMC, it will advance its rank to 3rd in the team standings.
Autonomous will then share the 3rd place with DCCA who has an 8-3 win-lose card in its hand.
