Ghasias Bros. make a comeback for pre-season Rocball games

According to James W. Feger of the World Organized Rocball said Ghasias Brothers have indicated their interest to compete in the upcoming Rocball season by pre-registering for the games.

Feger also said Evenflow have turned in its roster of players who will compete in this year’s matches.

Evenflow is the world champion in Rocball event.

Other teams that have anticipated the opening of Rocball season and have pre-registered together with Ghasias Brothers and Evenflow include No-Mercy, Soul Rebels, Okies, Naturals, Uraiwak, and Section “A”.

Feger invites those interested to join the games to form a group, choose a team captain, and register with him at the Marianas High School Gymnasium between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. from Monday to Thursday, and on Saturday.

Rocball is the first team sport of its kind to develop offensive and defensive scoring, multiple-point scoring, penalty-point scoring, and a quarter/set system of play.

Rocball is played on a slightly modified standard size of a volleyball court with an overhead net bisecting team courts, and a 6 by 12-foot soccer-type goal situated 10 feet behind each court.

It has been described as a hybrid sport between volleyball and soccer (football).

Rocball has been an annual sports event in the commonwealth since 1983.
