Rabauliman helps Jr. Nationals beat Saints

Rabauliman fashioned 21 points for his team, but he was not the only one to be thanked for – Jericho Cruz, Dimps White and Allen Moses were very instrumental themselves in bringing Jr. Nationals to higher grounds; higher than the grounds C.K. Saints are standing on at the moment.

Saints have fallen from its post during its match with G-Stars on September 4. It has also lost to Sonics in a lopsided score two days prior to its game with G-Stars.

So far, Saints have not tallied a single win in the team standings.

On the other hand, Jr. Nationals have been sweeping every victory they can get their hands on in the Rotary games.

Jr. Nationals have defeated Kontenders and Rollers II in previous matches, but have lost to Sonics with a score of 71-64 in August.

It was a close match between the two teams during the first period with Jr. Nationals scoring 31 points and the Chalan Kanoa cagers 29.

Without a doubt, Rabauliman ruled the first half, with him scoring more than half of Jr. Nationals’ score.

Rabauliman fired 16 points in the period with Moses, Jose Castro, and White helping him out.

Zack Tudela of Saints brought up 17 points in the battle, but even this did not create a bearing for his team.

As most of the Chalan Kanoa cagers shared the burden increasing the team’s score, they fell short of crafting double digit baskets.

This situation resulted in a 14-point deficit behind Jr. Nationals’ final score.

Two more games are left for Jr. Nationals and Saints, each, before the season ends.

Scores:

Jr. Nationals – 63: Rabauliman – 21; Cruz – 12; White – 14; Jose Castro – 4; and Moses – 11.

Saints – 49: Luizi Reyes – 8; Joshua Lizama – 2; Tudela – 17; Santiago Tenorio – 2; Richard Cruz – 5; Nikko Masga – 2; Jody Kaipat – 3; Anton Nedlic – 2; Jay Manas – 4; and Rico Williams – 4.
