Autonomous, no show in makeup game with NMC

According to referee Arnold Mesa, Autonomous practically forfeited its makeup game with NMC when it failed to arrive at the venue.

The match between Autonomous and NMC had to be called off due to a power outage that hit the venue, leaving Autonomous lagging behind 10 points from NMC, 45-35.

Mark Wallace of NMC pulled the team to the leading position, shooting 3-pointers behind the arc during the first half.

Wallace fired three points in the early minutes of the first quarter after teammate Mel Manibusan made a two-pointer.

Rufino Aguon crafted 10 points and Joe Villacrusis made 9 points via medium-range shots.

Due to the game forfeit by Autonomous, it is currently on fifth rank in the team standings in the league, while NMC inched its way to the top of the list.

Autonomous now holds a 7-4 win-lose card, as NMC has a 10-1 win-lose ticket in its hand.

Accordingly, NMC shares the first place with PTI which carries the same scorecard.

Final scores:

NMC – 45: Villacrusis – 9; Manibusan – 1; Ray Roberto – 4; Jose Tumaquip – 3; Wallace – 16; Aguon – 10; and Jerry Diaz – 1.

Autonomous – 35: Kapileo -6; Coldeen – 7; Rasa – 13; Ed Diaz – 6; and Chris Camacho – 2.
