The basketball league began with a short parade at 3:30 p.m. that culminated in the CIC basketball court where Ms. Ice won the Best Muse from C & R Distributor.
The other member-teams of the league include Olivos, Pacific Telecommunications Inc., and Pacific Trading Corp.
In a previous interview, Fernando “Pando” Muleta said two more teams will likely be added in the league membership in the coming weeks even after they have already started.
He said these prospective teams will still be accepted in the league so long as they can settle their fees and organize themselves before two league matches are over.
The basketball league is PilCoWA’s first time to host a sports event.
