I think what prompted Hammerhead to post remarks against me was from the letter I wrote about the proposed Marianas Trench Monument. These were his questions directed to me. Hammerhead: “This is the Indigenous Affairs officer? Really? We pay taxes for this Gonzalo person? Someone actually selected him to head the Office of Indigenous Affairs?”
Yes, I am the Indigenous Affairs officer and I try my best to provide services for our people from whatever budget I receive annually. Don’t worry so much about you paying taxes because I do the same.
Yes, Gov. Ben Fitial appointed me to this department and the House of Senate immediately confirmed my appointment in less than 30 minutes. Then Hammerhead ended up by saying, “Pues adios esta later ha, and the later the better.”
Your last statement appears to have certain threats against me. So I am asking you Hammerhead to reveal your true identity ok? Maybe others might have comments to make too. Let me tell you that I am not just about to sell our indigenous people’s inheritance to anybody without a fight. Biba CNMI! Biba Taotano Tano!
