21-year-old man was found floating dead at the open waters in Meyuns, Wednesday.
Bureau of Public Safety Director Norvert H. Yano said that the victim Mitsuo Solang was believed to have drowned while swimming at the open waters behind the swimming pool.Yano said Solang was found dead at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday.The Director said a police officer saw the victim swimming earlier.When the police officer returned after 20 minutes, he did not see the victim anymore so he asked other individuals if they have seen the victim.When the police officer failed to get some affirmative answer, he went on searching the victim.The officer noticed later a floating object in the water.Yano said the incident is still under investigation. He added that an autopsy would be conducted to determine the cause of death of the victim.
