Public Health legal counsel Alex Gorman disclosed in an interview last week that they will hire Dr. Gary Ramsey to replace Lorraine Liwiski who is set to leave CHC this Wednesday.
Liwiski has tendered her resignation and Anthony Raho, who was given only a 30-day contract, is the remaining CHC in-patient pharmacist.
Gorman said Ramsey has a medical license and has recently acquired his license to work as a pharmacist.
Ramsey may work at CHC during the weekend, Gorman said.
Last week, Gorman said the hospital administration met with Finance Secretary Iloy Inos to discuss CHC’s plan during the governor’s 30-day emergency declaration for the in-patient pharmacy.
He said the fate of the pharmacy is in the hands of the Fitial administration and the Legislature.
