That seems like pretty significant purchase to me and may just have swayed Mr. Propst to “believe” along with his Pew benefactors. They must have a big coffee table to put all those magazines, huh?
While we certainly appreciate Ed telling us all how we are supposed to interact with each other by supplying us with “new rules of engagement,” I for one am not too pleased with his accidental memory loss regarding Pew’s generous payment to his business interest.
Maybe a little of the transparency he likes so much would be appropriate here.
This is a typical tactic for Pew — spreading large sums of money around in return for people to “believe” seems to be this group’s main stock in trade. Well, that and conning young school children to signing their petition.
I suggest you JUST SAY NO to the rush, rush job, just so President Bush sign “IT” before he leaves the White House. It’s all hot air and no written promises. They want to take our ancestral waters and trade us a brass plaque and a pat on the head. It’s a bad, bad deal.
In closing, let us wait for McCain or Obama. We will get a much better “deal” for our future generations! CNMI must and has the right to have a strong negotiating ground for the better and nothing less.
