DFEMS responds to Marpi grass fire

THE Department of Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to a grassfire near the old Kan Pacific swimming pool on Monday, Feb. 13.

According to DFEMS, at approximately 10:38 a.m. a Department of Public Safety patrol vehicle reported the grassfire.

At 10:40 a.m., Engine – 2 from the Garapan Fire Station responded to the location of the fire and arrived on scene at 10:50 a.m. 

By 12:15 p.m. the fire was fully extinguished and the Division of Fire Prevention and Arson Investigation was on scene to conduct an investigation.

No injury or property damage was reported.
