Dandan collected their eighth win by besting Kagman, 33-29.

It was a slow start as both teams defended well in the first half of the game.

Thanks to their many shot attempts,  Dandan notched a high shot percentage that was highlighted by the back-and-forth output of Katie and Cassandra Camacho who contributed two buckets each.

Kagman’s Kaia Travilla and Mikki Kautz tried to equalize with all-around offense but their team remained behind as Kina Rangamar and Sylvina Simram joined the  fray with four points combined to keep Dandan afloat, 12-7.

In the second half, Kagman’s Travilla sank three triples while team mate Yasmeen Younis delivered a trey of her own, but Dandan’s Connie Camacho then took over the spotlight with three straight three-pointers.

During the final minutes of the game, Kagman’s Kautz tried to take matters into her own hands from underneath the rim, but Dandan stayed efficient on offense with Cassandra and Katie Camacho, along with Antonette Labausa, connecting back-to-back shots to maintain the safe distance and secure the win, 33-29.

Garapan vs San Vicente

Garapan bagged their sixth win by edging San Vicente to remain second in the team standings behind Dandan.

Garapan had an explosive start with each of their players having a taste of the action. Marlene Lumabi and Mikayla Lopez led the run with eight and six points while Jhen Villagomez, Quina Flores and Madeleine Alegre chipped in their fair share to give their team the halftime lead, 28-19.

San Vicente managed to shake off their rough start as the inside game of Destiny Pangelinan and Angellyn Roligat caused havoc to Garapan’s defense.

But San Vicente’s rally was ill-timed as they had to fight the clock as well. Garapan’s Alegre eventually dashed San Vicente’s hopes by draining three clutch shots to seal the deal, 48-47.
