OCTOBER is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. It’s a month to unite individuals and organizations to raise awareness and fix ongoing domestic violence issues.
The Manta Ray Battalion cadets helped advocate by taking part in the walk that took place at Garapan, Fishing Base from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Before the walk, cadets from SSHS, KHS, MHS, along with other individuals, gathered at the venue, and gladly took part in a road-side waving.
Free t-shirts were distributed by the Northern Marianas Coalition Against Domestic & Sexual Violence Organization.
After the road-side waving cadets called cadence while marching down Garapan Fishing Base, headed toward the DFS intersection stop light.
