On Wednesday morning, Gov. Ralph DLG Torres, CNMI Office of Vocational Rehabilitation Acting Director Sam F. Santos, CNMI OVR, the Northern Marianas Protection & Advocacy Systems Inc. and the Disability Network Partners gathered to proclaim October as National Disability Employment Awareness Month. “I call upon employers, schools, and community stakeholders throughout our great Commonwealth, to observe this month with appropriate programs and activities, and to advance its important message that people with disabilities add value and talent to our workplaces and communities,” the governor said.
