THE Tan Holdings 50th Anniversary Taga Kids triathlon on Saturday featured children from 5 to 8 years old participating in a 50m swim followed by a one-loop bike race and a one-loop run course at Paupau Beach.
In the female division of the 5- to 6-year-old age group, Olivia Walsh finished first by completing the course with a time of 00:07:30 followed by Cloe Burrell in second place with a time of 00:08:35 and Mika McKagan in third with a time of 00:09:35.
In the male division, Juwon Park earned the podium finish with a time of 00:08:20 followed by Jace Brennfleck in second with a time of 00:08:47 and Declan Spaeth in third with a time of 00:09:01.
In the 7- to 8-year-old category, Lovel Spaeth led the female division with a finish time of 00:06:31 followed by Aileen Kim in second place at 00:07:23 and Raeya Edualson in third with a time of 00:08:37.
In the male division, Gabriel Walsh came in first with a time of 00:06:36 beating Yubo Lin who finished second at 00:06:37 and Beau Bauer in third with a time of 00:06:47.
Extended route
For children 9 to 12 years old, they had an extended route that featured a 100m swim, a two-loop bike race, and a two-loop run course at Paupau Beach.
In the 9- to 10-year-old age group, Quido Jambor led the pack with a time of 00:11:57 followed by Kanoa Owens in second place at 00:12:15 and Philip James Seman in third at 00:16:02.
In the 11- to 12-year-old age group, Olivia Zhang had a solo finish in the female division with a time of 00:17:22.
In the male division, Akeem Edualson claimed the top spot with a time of 00:12:51 followed by Keoni Ruszala in second with a time of 00:16:05 and James Xiong in third with a time of 00:17:39.
The Taga Kids triathlon was held right after the 50th Tan Holdings Anniversary Triathlon.
