Ameliik routs Salty Boys 13-3

AMELIIK bagged their first victory in the 2022 Budweiser Belau Amateur Softball League after powering past the Salty Boys, 13-3,  Sunday at the Dandan baseball field.

The Salty Boys drew first blood in the opening inning with a run aided by Sablan for an RBI.

However, Ameliik answered with three runs in the bottom of the inning with Manny Cabrera and Ace Uchel earning an RBI each to gain control, 3-1.

The Salty Boys managed to trim the deficit with another solo run in the top of the second inning, but were stumped in the next two innings while Ameliik added two more runs in the bottom of the fourth inning and six more in the bottom of the fifth for a comfortable 11-2 lead.

Despite the inevitable loss, the Salty Boys continued to put up a fight with a solo homer by Mike Techur, but Ameliik scored two runs in the bottom of the six inning to add the icing to the cake, 11-3.

Kosebakl vs 670 Babes

In the Ladies Division, Kosebakl defeated the 670 Babes, 5-2.

The 670 Babes scored a run in the bottom of the first inning but were  silenced for the next three innings before earning another run in the bottom of the fourth.

Kosebakl started slow but notched runs in the top of the third, fourth and fifth innings to grasp the lead. They then added two more runs in the top of the sixth inning to seal the deal, 5-2.
