REPRESENTATIVE Joel Camacho on Tuesday said he is maximizing his office funds for projects that benefit the Saipan community, including the rehabilitation of the northern highway.

He and his community staff are now working to rehabilitate the stretch of Middle Road from the Sadog Tasi intersection to Marpi.

In an interview, Camacho, who represents Precinct 4, said he recently purchased paint and other supplies to enhance the island’s medians and sidewalk curbs, improving both the appearance and driver visibility on roadways leading north to Tanapag, San Roque, As Matuis, and Marpi.

During his second term in the House, Camacho and his staff completed several beautification projects in Precinct 4, including concrete markers at village boundaries, which continue to guide motorists entering the villages.

“We completed these projects during my second term, and we plan to do it again,” Camacho said.

He said he is making full use of his office budget to help the community amid economic challenges. “I’m doing my part through projects that will also help save government funds,” he added.
