Doh-Fins beat Champ-on, 14-21, 21-19, 21-11.
Their first win came after engaging in their 10th game in tournament.
Doh-Fins now hold a 1-9 win-loss record, making an identical card with Champ-on, which is second team from the bottom of the team standings.
Members of MHS 67 Doh-Fins who played last night were Cecile Nogis, Jordan Igisomar, Wilton Laniyo, and Champ Untalan.
Despite their recent victory, Doh-Fins still do not qualify for the playoffs next week as the tournament will only pick the top eight teams.
As of press time last night, Off Twice and MHS Serves Up! were yet to see some actions.
Two other pairs were scheduled to pit in the sands. They were Enyophace and MHS Oakies, and Acme Roofing and MHS Peers.
The PIC-Miller Lite beach volleyball tourney will hold its playoffs on October 11 (Tuesday) and October 13 (Thursday), and will have its championship match on Friday, October 14.
