Dolphins drench Knights, 77-41

Dolphins bombarded Knights’ zone with lay-ups via fastbreaks, which connected to the basket for a win.

Nino Feria of MHS Dolphins fired a total of 22 shots in the game to cause a big damage in MCS Knights’ defense.

C. Hidalgo and D. Garrigo of Dolphins helped out with their 10-point contributions, which further resulted in a wide deficit over Knights.

The rest of the Dolphins pack rallied together for a breakneck defense to score some steals and quick ball passes down the basket until the final quarter.

These attempts were eventually converted into needed points for Dolphins.

The first quarter witnessed Dolphins with a six-point headway against Knights.

MHS Dolphins even brought their game to a higher level in the second period as they left the quarter in their favor with a score of 35-18.

MCS Knights missed many opportunities near the basket given their miscalculated shots and miscues in passing.

In many instances, Dolphins intercepted ball passes by the other team and convert these steals for some two-pointers.

MCS Knights, in the offensive, had the chance to score for the team but failed to connect to the basket amidst Dolphins’ tight defensive play all throughout the match.

The entire game saw Knights trailing behind Dolphins by several points; unable to recover from their deficit.

Knights were only able to pour eight points in first and third quarter for lack of coordination with their gameplan.
