The organizers behind the publication will hold a fundraising event to promote “The Traveler,” a non-profit magazine whose principal contributors are Micronesian business students.
The organizers said that the event will This event will include light supper, beer and wine.The aim of the evening is to increase the profile of the “Traveler” and to raise funds for the future publications.The fundraiser will have two raffles, the ticket will be sold at $1 each and that there are great prizes in store for those who will attend the fundraiser.The prizes were donated by local businesses and hotels. The ‘special’ raffle meanwhile will be drawn from those who choose to make a donation (either cash or cheque) during the event.The organizers added that a special prize will be given to the person with the largest donation.The organizer said that donations are all tax-deductable and tax forms and receipts will be available on the night for those who choose to donate.
