Milad ‘L Dil, Inc. is a chartered non-profit, non-government women’s organization, which aims to “promote and nurture the interests of women and children in health and education.”
Its active members are: Priscilla M. Soalablai (2009 president-elect), Silwai M. Silas (2009 vice-president-elect), Coleen Tellei (2009 secretary-elect), Carolyn Ngiraidis (2009 treasurer-elect), Brenda Tarimel, Clarinda Ziegler, Marissa P. Mad, Viola Termeteet, Sheila Tmarsel, Blanche I. Salii, Madelsar Ngiraingas, First Lady Debbie Remengesau, Encely Ngiraiwet, Lucy Sugiyama, Jackie Senior, Lisa Abraham, Eunice Akiwo, Terry E. Ngiraingas, Krystal Panuelo, Stephanie Tmodrang, Lisa Paulis, Marlene Aguon, and Honora Remengesau-Rudimch.Milad ‘L Dil has established an annual Gift For Teaching (GFT) project through which the organization goes out to various schools in Palau to make donations of school supplies – books, writing tools, games, and others.The organization has, for the past five years, made its annual GFT to a number of schools in Palau; and intends to continue its project in advocacy of improvement of the lives of women and children in Palau.Members of Milad ‘L Dil place a high priority in giving support and necessary materials to enhance teaching and to contribute to improving the learning environments of the children.Members of Milad ‘L Dil holds fundraising events each year to raise funds for the organization’s GFT project; and are duly appreciative of individuals, groups, agencies, businesses, and other organizations who have contributed to their project.This year, Milad ‘L Dil pays particular recognition to Surangel and Sons Company, Ilang Ilang Restaurant, Palau Pacific Resort, Bank of Hawaii, Palau Royal Resort, Hanpa, and various individuals for contributing to its 6th annual GFT for Airai, Ameliik, and Meyuns schools.Milad ‘L Dil continues to solicit for contributions to its GFT project.
