Some delegation members said they were told that the company is attempting to sell the facility.
“We have heard about the [buyout], but we haven’t heard or seen anything formal from Dynasty,” said Sen. Joseph Mendiola, Covenant-Tinian and chairman of the legislative delegation.
The company has to notify the Tinian Gaming Control Commission if it plans to sell its hotel, he added.
“That’s the whole reason why we want to meet with Dynasty next week…to find out what is really going on,” he said. “The delegation is ready and willing to assist Dynasty in terms of whatever is necessary for them to stay afloat.”
Dynasty is the major revenue source of the Tinian municipal government.
