But the commission will get the bulk of its revenues from application fees and renewal of licenses.
Initially, however, the commission will be funded from an appropriation from the CNMI or municipal general appropriation funds.

As defined by the commission, the gross gaming revenue is the total of all sums received as winnings less the total of all sums paid out as losses by a casino with a valid gaming license.
The commission will collect a $100,000 nonrefundable application fee and a $200,000 annual license fee, but the deposit for processing and investigation cost has yet to be determined by the commission.
All investigation fees must be paid by the applicant and where the initial fee is insufficient, the commission may require additional funds for the completion of the investigation process.
However, the commission will reimburse any investigation fees not exhausted.
The commission sets a $500 license fee for each and every key casino employee and a $50 license fee for each casino employee and hotel employee.
Key casino employees are those individuals employed in the operation of a casino and who supervise other employees.
They are managers, assistant managers, credit managers, count room managers, supervisors of security employees, surveillance employees, and accounting and auditing employees, cashier’s or count room employees.
The commission can also generate revenues from the machine license fees of $125 for every year of every machine for the first 1 to 100 machines; $100 per year, per additional machine for 101 to 300 machines; and $75 per year for 301 or more machines.
The commission, moreover, will collect a $250 tax for every gaming table.
The annual casino gaming license fee costs $5,000 while a casino non-gaming license fee amounts to $2,500
Other fees that the commission is entitled to collect include an application form fee from a hotel/casino applicant. $5,000; an application form fee for casino gaming or non-gaming service provider, $5,000; and petition fee, $2,000.
