For the past months there had been much confusion, questions, and arguments about the issue and I’m glad that our local leaders and the federal government are on the same page and can work together to make the best for our economy.
I was so shocked and at the same time happy to find out that our local leaders support the idea of a monument. I was even happier to hear that President Bush declared the monument. Without all the hard work, community support, and arguments, this would have never happen.
As we step into a new year we must look into new ways to make the best for our economy. We must work together to make Saipan an enjoyable place to live in and most especially to make a great place for tourist all over the world to visit. Thanks once again to all who took a part in this idea.
