I’M sure most readers will agree the CNMI is not on course for any real reforms that will have the capacity to change the out-look for our Economy and Quality of life. Yes, the Governor is doing usual Photo Ops of minor steps being taken when the CNMI needs to take a gigantic LEAP forward with REAL Economic Reforms. There are only two possible scenarios for the outcome of the election as there will either be a “New Era with New Leaders that will offer unlimited potential for improvements or will voters still be in an “SOS Mode” the Same-Old-Sh%# (stuff) from self-inflicted Political wounds of Republicans Fumbling Around like Hacks & Phonies.” These Republicans, Arnold included, have yet to come up with any reforms to turn our Economy around and in fact, WE the People are continuing to be misled that South Korea was now our primary Tourism Market when it’s obvious the recent “Tourism Bubble” has clearly burst with MVA reporting the decline in Tourists from South Korea. I keep telling readers this group of Republicans have “Bad-hands” as Lancheru (farmer) might say, as everything they touch seems to DIE, which is why we must avoid the SOS Republicans!
It’s finally official that the Republicans’ “Great Casino Plan with IPI is Dead” which I predicted over a year ago but the Governor and his Crew were still in denial prolonging our misery hoping for a better outcome that’s not coming. If the Governor truly had a real Economist on board WE the People might not be in so much trouble with our Economy. But the Governor’s Economic Council doesn’t have a single Economist on board and more importantly it is run by a business man who has MORE Personal Interest in the Business Sector than any single Local. They only came up with kaduku ideas like the “Deer Hunting that won’t be viable for a decade or more if at all and the South Korean Tourist Bubble that has literally and figuratively BUST.
It should really be obvious that this Governor is DUN, as we say in Ebonics. But there is still his Lt. Governor Arnold who poses a real threat to the CNMI entering a “New Era with New & Better Things” planned for our Commonwealth to rebuild our economy and improve the quality of life. The CNMI is becoming the “laughing-stock of the Pacific” because of our Governor and those who empowered and even protected him like the Lt. Governor, House Members and Senators. If there ever was a time for our Political System to be “CLEANED-UP” it’s now as WE are at Rock-bottom facing complete Economic Obliteration once the Federal Stimulus Funding runs out. I know Democrats have a plan but they are not the ones in power now, so we must wait.
But every voter should be concerned and wanting NEW & BETTER leaders, especially on Tinian & Rota as things are twice and even three times as bad on these islands and it’s not going to get any better voting for what I believe are “the Same Old Phony Political Hacks expecting a different and better outcome,” as Albert Einstein called this kind of thinking INSANITY. Just look at all the BAD publicity Tinian is getting from their Senators who don’t have ANY real Reforms on the table for their island, but they will literally RISK their careers protecting and serving the “Party-of-One-Man.” I truly love Tinian and Luta as the problem is not the people, but the Leaders on these two islands who have taken them “off-course” and headed for “nowhere and nothing.” The Governor and his Lt. Governor are good at getting “photo ops” but when it comes to real reforms, they are both silent. Heck, the Lt. Governor hasn’t said anything about reforms but he was quick to reach-out to Government Employees for his “personal intentions of getting votes” when he has been silent for the past four years letting the Governor do the Photo-ops and even get-away with crimes.
The Governor, his co-conspirator Lt. Governor, Angel Demapan and other Republicans who manipulated IPI for their personal intentions are definitely going to make history once the IPI Beans are spilled but it won’t be a pretty photo-op announcing new reforms to replace the Casino but their mug-shots. I keep reminding voters, the Feds are going to “round-up & lock-up some of these Republican Hacks & Phonies so “be careful who you ask for when you vote,” as you just might end up voting for a person who has one-foot in a jail cell. RICO is no joke and it’s surely coming once this Local Legal mess with the Governor is over. One People One Direction!
