Bank of Guam donates $25,000 to 2022 Pacific Mini Games

BANK of Guam’s Saipan branch became a silver sponsor of the 2022 Pacific Mini Games after donating $25,000 to the games organizing committee led by CEO Ben Babauta on Friday.

“On behalf of the chairman [Marco Peter] and also the games organizing committee, we would like to thank Bank of Guam for a really generous contribution,” Babauta said. “This donation will go a long way for our visiting athletes and also our national team,” he added.

Bank of Guam vice president/CNMI regional manager Marcie Tomokane said the bank “has always sponsored events in the community that we serve and we are so privileged to do this, especially when it comes to sports.”

She added, “We’re happy to help bring together all the athletes from different places. We’re always happy to help in any way that we can.”

“Having Bank of Guam around the Pacific means a lot for us,” Babauta said.

The CNMI will host the Pacific Games from June 17 to 25, 2022.
