2 men in assault case got 7 days imprisonment

However Senior Judge Honora E. Remengesau Rudimch suspended the sentences of Sean Itelmong Alexander and Leeroy Remoket except for seven days.

The two defendants appeared for plea hearing on February 9. Alexander pleaded guilty to one count of trespassing and one count of assault.Remoket pleaded guilty to two counts of malicious mischief and one count of assault.In exchange of the defendants plea, the government agreed to dismiss the other charges.Remoket will serve his jail sentence on February 17 at 10 am to February 19 at 10 am.; then on February 26 at 6 pm to March 2 at 6 pm and March 9 at 6 am to March 10 at 6 am.Alexander will serve his sentence on February 20 at 6 pm to February 22 at 6 pm; February 27 at 6 pm to March 1 at 6 pm; March 6 at 6 pm to March 8 at 6 pm; March 13 at 6 pm to March 14 at 6 pm.Remoket and Alexander were both placed on supervised probation.Remoket was ordered to pay $200 fine and to stay away from the victims and their residences.He shall be evaluated at the Bedochel Clinic for anger management and alcohol abuse treatment andAlexander was ordered to perform 60 hours of community service and to stay away from the victims too.Alexander will also be evaluated for anger management and alcohol abuse treatment.The two defendants were charged along with Jasper Etikoi Salvador with disturbing the peace, riot, trespassing, malicious mischief, assault and assault and battery for assaulting other persons and damaging their property on July 15, 2008.The police affidavit submitted in court stated that the defendants were yelling at the house of the victims and that Remoket who was holding a machete struck the house window.The affidavit stated that Alexander pointed a knife at a woman’s stomach.
