Lt. A. Alonz of the CIS said that they already arrested the suspects of these crimes and investigations have been completed.
Lt. Alonz said that they already forwarded the cases to the Attorney General’s Office for disposition.These incidents occurred from January 4 until January 17.According to Lt. Alonz, most of the suspects involved are minors.They were able to recover also some of the stolen items.The crimes solved are the burglaries and grand larcenies that happened at J’s store in Idid, Koror on January 4, 2009; RR store in Ngermid on January 1 and 2; Kabekel market in Ngerbeched on January 6 and 7; S.D.A. Elementary School in Ngesekes on January 7; New Juice City II store in Dngeronger on January 9; and Headstart main office in Ngesekes on January 9, 12 and 17.CIS investigators also arrested the suspects that burglarized the residences of Joy Andres in Iyebukel on January 9; Feliciano M. Flores in Ngesekes on January 10; and Linda Lim Hooi in Ngermid on January 12.Lt. Alonz said some of Andres stolen items were recovered.CIS has only 6 investigators but Alonz said they are doing their best to protect the public.He said when the case is forwarded to their office for investigation, they would immediately conduct investigation.He said three days or four days later, they already arrest the suspects.“We just want to inform the public that we are doing something to solve these crimes and to prevent crimes,”Alonz said.The investigators who worked hard to solve the said crimes are Detective Willy Mays Towai, Officers McArthur Ucharm and Jovian Adelbai.
