Leeroi Frano, 24, was arrested on Valentine’s Day.
He is now facing another criminal charge for escaping from jail.Patrol Division Chief Ismael Aguon said that at 9:56 am on February 14, an off duty police officer called and reported that he apprehended an inmate by the SDA church.Division of Correction Chief Julio Ringang said that Frano escaped at 9:55 am on Saturday and was arrested at 10:23 am that same day.Chief Ringang said the inmate told the arresting officer that he was hungry and was looking for some fresh fish.According to Ringang Frano was released from custody on Sunday morning.Frano served a one year jail sentence for DUI, assault and battery, petite larceny, hit and run and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.Ringang further added that Frano will be charged anew and could be back in jail once the charge is filed in court.
