President Johnson Toribiong in a letter to Sandra Pierantozzi, KSPLA chairperson also requested for also the use of a butler warehouse bldg. at Malakal.

The Chief Representative Joshua Koshiba will be operating at the old OEK building at it can be used at least for a year.“To ensure proper and smooth operation of this extremely vital function of the government, I respectfully request that KSPLA allow national government continued use of subject premises in its entirety for Compact review and other national government agencies,” Toribiong said.Another request Toribiong made is for KSPLA to reconsider its decision to have the national government to vacate the butler warehouse in Malakal.“May I ask that KSPLA kindly reconsider this decision as we would not be asking to retain use of this premises had it not been for lack of alternative storage facility to meet the ever increasing demands for space by Property  and Supply Division,” Toribiong said in his letter. The president said the government will need two more years to use the facility. The time, he added will also give the national government time to plan and prepare its own storage facility to relocate to.
