THE Northern Marianas Athletics board, coaches and athletes are grateful to the 2022 Pacific Mini Games Organizing Committee, its chair Marco Peter, CEO Ben Babauta and the rest of its hard-working members for approving NMA’s request for weight training equipment and temporary training facilities.
The equipment was contributed through the Joeten Daidai Foundation’s sponsorship pact with the 2022 Pacific Mini Games Organizing Committee.
“We are also forever indebted to the Joeten Foundation and all other sponsors that are stepping up to the challenge to making these games a reality,” NMA stated.
According to NMA Development Officer Elias Rangamar, “This equipment is donated directly to the track program and will also be used for… [other athletic] meets. This will greatly enhance our athletics program as strength training is essential in the development of elite athletes.”
He added, “Again, we thank you for believing in us that we can all make the athletes’ experience more special and enriching.”
NMA President Ray Tebuteb said he would also “want to extend our thanks to our games organizing committee as we prepare for the mini games and other regional athletics events.”
Local athletes are grateful to the Pacific Mini Games Organizing Committee and the Joeten Daidai Foundation for providing them with new equipment.
Local athletes use the new equipment provided by the Pacific Mini Games Organizing Committee and the Joeten Daidai Foundation.
