According to Global Finance magazine, the “World’s 50 Safest Banks 2009” were selected through a comparison of the long-term credit ratings and total assets of the 500 largest banks around the world.

Credit ratings from Moody’s, Standard & Poor’s and Fitch were used.

KagHS PTSA meeting

 (KagHS) — Parents and guardians of Kagman High School students are urged to attend the PTSA meeting today, Tuesday, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Guam nursing students assist the homeless

 

(UOG) — University of Guam’s assistant professor of nursing, Margaret Hattori-Uchima, and her nursing students first became interested in the issue of homelessness while conducting community assessments in Dededo and Hagåtña as part of their coursework during fall semester 2008.

They interviewed homeless individuals in the community and wanted to become involved other activities to help the homeless population on Guam.
