THE family of Juan “John” Kaipat Igisomar has been looking for him since Tuesday. He has not been seen at his Chalan Laulau home for a while now.
According to a social media post of a family member, Igisomar “is known to frequently get around the island by walking,” and is usually seen in Chalan Kiya, on Beach Road, Garapan, and Middle Road.
“It is unusual for Uncle John to not return home after a day of being out. This is so unlike him…. The family and I are worried,” the family member said.
Igisomar’s brother, Department of Public Lands Secretary Sixto K. Igisomar, told Variety that family members have been searching for John since Tuesday, and have already alerted the Department of Public Safety.
“As of now, still no information from family members or friends if he is with them,” said the DPL secretary on Wednesday afternoon.
“Up to 10:30 p.m. [Tuesday] night, we went to known areas/places,” he added. “I know John may have visited your homes, so please let us know if you’ve seen him at least the past few days or over the weekend. We are receiving [conflicting] information about when he was last seen, and so we are worried,” he said.
