BILLIE Pangelinan and Stanley Iakopo Jr. topped their respective classes in round 3 of the 2022 Marianas Racing Association Points Race Series at Cow Town Raceway Park on Sunday, March 27.
The seesaw battle for first-place in the Power Puff Girls Class continued with Billie Pangelinan earning her second 50-point finish.
In round 2, Pangelinan placed third overall as she was outshined by Nanako Celis and Shaniah Alvarez.
But in round 3, Pangelinan executed flawlessly as she led the competition in both heats for two first-place finishes worth 50 points.
Nanako Celis failed to keep up with Pangelinan and settled for second place overall to garner a total of 44 points.
Miyako Celis was third place with 38 points, Emelsha Cepeda was fourth with 34 points, and Shaniah Alvarez was fifth with 20 points.
Mini I
In the Mini I Class, Stanley Iakopo Jr. stole the show by clearing both heats in first place to secure the overall top spot with a total of 50 points.
Harley Susulin remains a top contender following a second-place finish with a total of 42 points followed by Jonoah Santos in third place with 40 points and Te-Ohnn Pua in fourth with 38 points.
Mini II
In the Mini II class, Vicente Palacios still stands at the top of the food chain. Although he finished second in heat 1, he changed gear the second time around to finish first and clinch the overall lead with 47 points.
Billie made her appearance in this class to finish second overall with 42 points followed by Devin Yumul with 38 points, TJ Ferrer with 36 points, and Leighton Palacios with 31 points.
Audieschott Iakopo also collected a total of 31 points, but was edged by Palacios in heat 2.
Mini ATV
In the Mini ATV class, Theresa Borja reigned supreme with her third 50-point performance.
Anella Igitol and Franchesca Yumul shared 40 points apiece, but Igitol broke the tie by finishing ahead of Yumul in heat 2.
In fourth place was Kassidy Camacho with 38 points while Kimason Cabrera took fifth place with 34 points.
