P&S clinches playoff spot in Budweiser softball

P&S which was two weeks ago, in the 12 place of the standing will join pennant champion, Department of Community and Cultural Affairs and the eight other teams in  the playoff that will this weekend.

Even if Pacific Oriental Inc., wins the last scheduled game tomorrow against Public School System, P&S’ two-game winning streak last week secured them a playoff spot.

Jess Mesa hit a solo homerun in the fourth inning before P&S lambasted Hopwood with four single hits in the last inning to win last Friday’s game, 8-7.

Mark Flores drove-in two with his single.

Last Thursday, even when Bernard Kileleman and Manases Iguel were called out after failing to show up for their turn to bat, P&S managed to beat Commonwealth Ports Authority, 12-9.

Stanley Laniyo hit four singles, two of which sent home base runners to keep the lead.

Iguel hit a two-run single in the top of the second inning before he went no-show in the rest of the game.

P&S scored four runs in the fourth inning, and three in the second including Dimas Omar and John Tomokane’s RBIs.
