In September of last year, I submitted a recruitment proposal to Sun Valley Resort, Idaho. The resort is backed up with H2B employees. So I convinced them in order to cut down their labor expenditures they should try recruiting from the CNMI.
As of Friday, I have finally been given the green light to start the pilot program. There are over hundred positions available this summer for this program. Anyone who is interested in knowing what positions are available and want to apply can visit the resort Web site at sunvalley.com or e-mail me at [email protected].
Because this is a pilot program I recommended that we start with the summer season. The seasonal program is ideal for students who are attending college or are about to attend college and want to take a break for the summer and make some money. But, this program is not limited to just college students, anyone who is interested can apply. There are also year round positions for persons who are interested in staying on past the summer season.
If you are concerned about housing don’t be. Housing is provided by the resort at the cost of $70 a month. Couples rooms usually go for about $ 150 a month. Families that work for the resort are usually set up in houses or condos; I am not sure what the prices are for their accommodations.
If you are wondering about Sun Valley Resort, I implore you to visit VH1’s Web site and search the Celebrity’s Top 10 Winter Getaways. You will find that Sun Valley Resort is ranked no. 5 in the world. Stars such as Bruce Willis and the Governator Arnold Schwarzengger own houses in Sun Valley. But, don’t take me word for it look it up and see for yourself.
Time is of the essence and I will like to get anyone who is interested on the application process ASAP. I will set up recruitment in Boise probably sometime at the end of this week or sometime next week.
