HOD Vice Speaker Alexander Merep was on hand to receive the two diplomats on behalf of the speaker and delegates.
According to a press statement from the HOD, Merep with chairman and members of the House of Committee on Foreign Relations and State Affairs welcomed Philippine Ambassador Ramoncito Marino.In the meeting, the two recognize the need for the two close neighbors in the region to continue to strengthen ties and cooperation in the areas and aquaculture, agriculture, airlines and others.In the second meeting, Merep with House Committee on Foreign Relations chairman Rebluud Kesolei welcomed Ambassador Michael Ronan of the State of Israel to Palau.The statement said that Israel has provided assistance in agriculture and medicine, including providing eye doctors to Palau.The HOD said that Israel is well known for the advancement s it has made in aquaculture, agriculture, medicine, technology and farming.
