CUC routs Mayors Office, 21-8

The CUC scored three runs in the second inning; three in the fourth, four runs in the fifth and went on to rampage with six runs in the final inning to secure their 21-8 victory against the Mayors Office.

Guerrero’s homer was his only chance to score a run for the game.

Extra hitter, Johnny Isaac had three RBIs—a two-run double in the first and a go-ahead single in the fourth. Kelvin Kalen swapped post with and chipped in another single hit for the final run.

Melvin Tudela led CUC to a scoring spree in the final inning by launching a two-run double.

Oscar Sablan singled Jeff Cabrera home in the third and doubled him in fifth inning.

Vinnie Sablan also hit a two-run double in the fourth, while Pat Blas drove him in for the first run scored in the first inning.

Joe Fejeran put up a triple hit driving Tudela home.

Tudela did not strike out any one but CUC in-fields stranded Mayors Office base runners in scoring positions in all innings, except fourth, allowing them to score only eight runs.

Mayors Office did well in defense in the third inning with pitcher, John Guerrero and first baseman, Manny Tenorio defeating Oscar Sablan and Glenn Villagomez with double play.

Meanwhile, Beach Boys snatched the second slot from Docomo by winning the game against Customs by forfeit.
