Covid-19 mass vaccination operations to relocate to MCATS, outreach at DYS sites

(CHCC) — The Covid-19 mass vaccination operations at the multi-purpose center will relocate to the Commonwealth Healthcare Corporation Medical Care and Treatment Site or MCATS tent M6, from April 18 to 29, 2022, and will operate Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Additionally, in partnership with the Department of Community and Cultural Affairs-Division of Youth Services, CHCC will host vaccination outreach sites at the Kagman Community Center and the Tanapag Youth Center during the following Saturday dates:

Covid-19 vaccines are also available at select private clinics, such as Medical Associates of the Pacific, Kagman Isla Community Health, Marianas Medical Center, as well as the following CHCC outpatient clinics: Family Care Clinic, Children’s Clinic, Women’s Clinic, Immunization Clinic, Tinian Health Center, and Rota Health Center. Contact each clinic for more information.

All locations will offer primary, additional, and booster doses of all U.S. FDA authorized/approved Covid-19 vaccine products.

A second Covid-19 vaccine booster shot is available to individuals aged 50 years and older and certain immunocompromised individuals.

CHCC and the Governor’s Covid-19 Task Force highly encourage unvaccinated individuals to get vaccinated and, for those eligible, to get a booster shot to stay up-to-date against Covid-19 to help prevent severe illness, hospitalization, and death.

The Governor’s Covid-19 Task Force and CHCC will continue to ensure every individual in the CNMI has access to information about Covid-19, Covid-19 testing, and therapeutic treatments without barriers.
