Delfina Remoket was released from custody on April 10 after posting cash bail.
Remoket through her counsel Chief Public Defender Jason Shaw also entered a not guilty plea to her charges.Assistant Attorney General Anthony DeRuiz appeared on behalf of the government.Remoket’s status conference is set for April 20 at 10 am.Remoket was arrested after a buy bust operation on February 23 and March 10.The affidavit submitted in court stated that personnel of Narcotics Division conducted a buy operation after receiving information that Remoket was selling marijuana.A confidential informant was given $50 to purchase marijuana from Remoket on February 23.The informant and the defendant agreed to meet at Kabekel market.The affidavit stated that Remoket aboard her vehicle arrived at the market and handed ten joints of marijuana to the confidential informant.On March 10, another buy bust operation was held at the same venue.The affidavit stated that Remoket’s son delivered the first ten joints of marijuana to the informant.The informant and the defendant agreed that Remoket will deliver another ten joints of marijuana to the informant later that day.The affidavit stated that Remoket delivered the controlled substance to the informant later that day.The affidavit further stated that Remoket was arrested later and the marked money amounting to $100 was found in her possession.
