Tawanpiy shot 73 and scored a net of 64 beating Joe Wabol who scored 67 during the qualifying round.
A nine-handicapper, Tawanpiy went at par 36 in the front nine and fired 1 –over par 37 in the back nine.
Dwain Stephens hit 6-over par in the front nine and improved to 41 in the back nine for the second place, and RGA January Ace, Cui Xian Lai who fired 7-over part in the front did better in back nine shooting 6-over par 42 for 68 net to settle for third.
Joe Wabol shot 7-over par 43 in the front nine and struggled in the back with 14-over par 50 for his 69 net. He tied with Jess I. Wabol and Tars Olopai won the fourth place in a scored card playoff.
So, two-handicapper, Jess I. Wabol who shot 1-over par 37 in the front nine and shot 2 strokes under par in the back nine settled for fifth place with 69 net.
Also a nine-handicapper, Olopai went 6-over par 42 in the front nine and pared 36 in the back nine.
Tawanpiy also shot the closest to the pin in Hole No. 6 and Jess Wabol in Hole No.15.
