The Senate committee on Tourism and Development endorsed the presidential appointment of Kanai as a member of the Palau Visitor’s Authority (PVA) while the Senate Committee on Resources, Commerce, Trade and Development endorsed the appointment of Jennifer Anson as member of the board of Palau National Communications Corporation (PNCC).
Kanai will be serving for a term of two years and that the committee agreed that Kanai will be a strong member of the (PVA).The committee added that Kanai’s educational background and experience working in the government boards will make her highly beneficial to the PVA.Anson, meanwhile was highly endorsed by the committee saying that her education, professional experiences and affiliations with various youth organization can help the PNCC better.The committee added that Anson is an “intelligent and active young woman who possess talents and skils that the committee believes will compliment the board.”
