Narul Haque filed the complaint against Hong Wang.
The plaintiff, through his attorney David G. Banes, is asking the Superior Court to award him general and special damages in an amount to be proven at trial, pre-judgment and post-judgment interest as allowed by law, costs of suit and for other relief the court deems just and proper.
The plaintiff said he was traveling along Martinez Road in his Toyota Camry on Jan. 11, 2009 when Wang, who was driving a Toyota Echo, entered the roadway, failed to yield the right of way and struck the plaintiff’s vehicle.
The plaintiff said the force of the impact caused him injuries and his car was severely damaged as a result.
An investigation conducted by the Department of Public Safety showed that the defendant was at fault.
The plaintiff said the defendant operated his car with indifference to the safety of others and failed to keep a proper lookout for other users of the road.
