The Department of Public Safety is still conducting an investigation, according to its newly appointed spokesman, Police Officer Eric David.
“Police are conducting ongoing investigation in identifying the suspect who sexually assaulted the minor on March 7,” he said.
They cannot yet disclose the results of their investigation, he added.
“The case contains sensitive information,” he said.
The victim was brought to the Commonwealth Health Center to undergo treatment after she was raped.
DPS is asking members of the community who may have information about this case to call the Criminal Investigation Division at 664-9100/9047/9050 or the CNMI Crime Stoppers Hotline at 234-7272.
All calls are kept anonymous, no caller ID is used and a reward of up to $1,000 will be given for any information that will lead to an arrest.
