AMANDA Magdalena Palacios was named to the President’s List for the University of Guam’s Fanomnakan (Spring) 2025 semester in recognition of her academic achievement.
In her letter to Palacios, UOG President Anita Borja Enriquez noted that she achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA, calling it a “remarkable feat, one that reflects not only your personal determination, discipline, and pursuit of academic excellence but also the strong foundation of support that has helped you reach this milestone.”
Enriquez said the achievement is a tribute to Palacios’ professors, mentors, and loved ones, “who have walked with you on your journey at UOG.”
“In our island culture, success is never solitary. It is nurtured by the strength of our connections; those who encourage us, uplift us, and believe in our potential. Your recognition on the President’s List is both a personal triumph and a celebration for all who have guided and supported you,” Enriquez added.
Palacios is the daughter of Joe Palacios, chairman of the CNMI Cannabis Commission and a business associate of Saipan Green Energy Construction Company.
She graduated from JFK High School in 2016 and was formerly employed with the Guam Department of Labor. She currently works at Bank of Guam’s Hagåtña headquarters as an asset recovery specialist while pursuing a master’s degree in Public Administration.
