Letter to the Editor: Living today for a better tomorrow

Our late Director Macaranas suggested that we produce our own movie and at the same time sale tickets for our King and Queen fundraiser contest. Our director and the staff sent an invitation to the lawmakers to come and watch our movie. Every night the manamko’ would wait outside for their invited officials. Only one showed up, the Honorable Pete Reyes. We thank you for your support. You are the man! I would also like to thank those who supported us by donating rice. We thank the Kingfisher, YCO Corp. H-Mart and the Korean Tour Guide.

According to our late director, whatever donation we get we share with our neighbors on Tinian and Rota.

Before the director passed away he called me into his office and told me as soon as the donated materials arrived, we, the manamko’, would volunteer to clean and paint over the graffiti around the Garapan area.

Our director was a good and honest man, not only helping the manamko’ but also the community.

I would also congratulate those who participated in these events especially Dr. J Wilgus, technical producer Walter Manglona, secretary Tenorio, cast members Mila Garin, Terry Sarosa, Siyao, Rosa Castro and many many more.

Our acting director canceled our trip to Guam because of lack of funds so please support us by purchasing more tickets for the King and Queen contest, including our DVD which is coming out soon.

So please support so that the dream and plan of our late Director Macaranas would continue.
