Led by Tae-Won Park, president of Korean Pingpong Association, the players were practicing at the Ada Gym last night as they prepare for the tournament that will be held on Tinian on Saturday.
Two of their members, Kyung Min Kang and Hae Ran Park are among the group’s bets who will be competing with their CNMI counterparts.
MATTA’s Buddhi Gurung will be accompanying Park and his members to Tinian at 4 p.m., on Friday.
Park said he has been on the island for many years now.
The Korean pingpong group will be back to Saipan Sunday.
