Both teams gave everybody the excitement of seeing a battle of the pitchers between Deleon Guerrero and Ol’ Aces’ Jeremy Lizama.
The Ol’ Aces who dominated the majors division’s regular season tasted defeat for the first time.
Deleon Guerrero who placed fifth in the ERA leaders (1.35) struck out 10.
Lizama who is this year’s ERA champion (0.23) maintained his throwing performance striking out 11.
The Red Sox pitcher is also in the sixth place of the strike out leaders with 45 strike outs, way ahead of Lizama who placed third with 65 strike outs.
Both Deleon Guerrero and Lizama held each team scoreless in straight four innings until Nathan Sablan who hit a single stole his way to scoring position in the fifth and finally made it to the home base from Jequinn Aguon’s passed ball.
Jessie Brel got even in the fifth for Ol’ Aces.
Craig Aguon who walked lined his way to the third base and scored the winning run from a passed ball.
Hustlers 8, Little Lions 0
Cody Kaipat had nine strike outs and substitute, Khobby Kaipat had three strike outs finishing off the Kagman Little Lions in sixth innings to help the Hustlers take the shut out win.
Ray Saralu who went 2-for-3 hit a run scoring double in the first inning and Cody Kaipat led the rally in the fifth driving in one with his single.
Survivors 11, IT&E 1
Caleb Takao replaced Gayvan Uchau in the second inning and struck out eight nailing IT&E into one run scored and helped the Survivors rally for 11-1 win.
Uchau who scored from a hit by pitch, rocketed a two-run double in the fourth inning as he went 2-for-3, while Jerry Kintol hit a run scoring triple in the second going 3-for-3 and had three runs scored.
Yobech Brel also hit a triple and delivered one run during the Survivors’ four-run fourth inning.
Century A’s 4, Enforcers 0
Davin Ada drove-in David Muna and Zachary Sasamoto with his go-ahead single in the fifth inning to help the Century A’s finish off the enforcers in the shut out game, 4-0.
He also hit a run-scoring triple in the first inning.
Davin Ada struck out eight holding the Enforcers scoreless.
Jets 13, Twins 0
Jose Lizama Jr., lasted six straight innings holding the Twins scoreless to help the Jets secure their victory in a shut-out game, 13-0. He struck out 16, gave up two hits and walked two.
Tristan Javier walloped a run-scoring double as he led Jets rallied in the final inning to secure the victory over the Tanapag Twins. He went 2-for-3.
Kenji Yamagata hit a run-scoring single in the first inning and went 1-for-2.
Jhace Palacios also hit a run-scoring single in the fifth inning and went 2-for-4.
