The six-mile run/walk will start at 7 p.m., during moonlight.
The starting point, according to organizer, Janet King will bet at the Taga Beach parking lot, to the scenic lookout/limestone forest trail and all the way to the looping back to Taga Beach.
Race day registration will open up to 6:30 p.m.
Registration fee is $5.00 which will be used toward other upcoming sports events. Each participant will receive glow sticks and/or necklaces. The first 10 finishers will receive T-shirts. Aid stations with refreshments available. Volunteers include the Department of Public Safety, Tinian Health Center, Marianas Visitors Authority, and Tinian High School’s JROTC.
The event is part of a series of weekend sports events organized by members of the community. This year’s sponsors include the Tinian Mayor’s Office, Senator Jude Hofschneider, DFS Galleria, Pacific Trading, and King Law Office.
